Originally from D.C. Brandon grew up in the DC club scene of the mid and late 90’s where he discovered the he was magnetically drawn towards edm. Brandon Black has been involved in EDM for over 10 years. First as a partier, then as a DJ and now as a producer. This past year has seen Brandon playing out in Miami, Philly, Baltimore, and NYC in addition to his home-turf and he shows no signs of slowing down. Brandon is one of the few House DJ’s from the club world to be invited to play at the legendary dc buzz party. He continually plays along side many of the world’s greatest house talents. Always smiling behind the decks, you can see his enthusiasm shine when he plays out. Brandon always seems to know how to read the crowd and keep them moving to the beat. Dustpan Recordings is a music label based in Singapore, a global melting pot where the groove of the West meets the vibrancy of the East. We seek to promote, create and distribute house music, and in doing so transmit its positive energy and message to people all over the world.
The label’s musical direction is spearheaded by Singaporean artist, Kane Ian who wishes to break out of the confines of easy main stream music, push boundaries so as to speak, putting out quality house music for the dance floor and easy listening for anytime anyplace.
