L.BOOGIE
L. Boogie made his debut as a house dj in south texas in 1999 playing alongside such notable House acts as J.A.M.O.N (uniform,spatula city) Jake Childs (uniform recordings) cello (housetown records) Joey Youngman (jackin trax, fetish) and Lucas Keizer (homesick records).
Since moving to Austin in early 2006 L. Boogie has held down a Residency along side Jamon Horne as THE NU JAXX @ plush, Austin's legendary house spot. Deciding that just being a being a dj wouldnt cut it in the fast moving house circuit L.Boogie stepped into the world of production teaming up with Austins Own J.A.M.O.N (uniform, spatula city) to form the jackin house duo THE NU JAXX. The Nu Jaxx Have so far released two tracks (southern fried bass, with remixes by lucas keizer and the SCH on Houston based homesick records, and "freshly baked" on the Junkshop records (UK) wintermusic sampler) L. Boogie is quickly building his own production resume with releases (jazz music & disco jackin') on shak digital and groovebaby and recent remix work for Yo Disco's-Talkin bout' EP with eric davenport and mikkael bristol UK. HISTORY
Dustpan Recordings is a music label based in Singapore, a global melting pot where the groove of the West meets the vibrancy of the East. We seek to promote, create and distribute house music, and in doing so transmit its positive energy and message to people all over the world.
The label’s musical direction is spearheaded by Singaporean artist, Kane Ian who wishes to break out of the confines of easy main stream music, push boundaries so as to speak, putting out quality house music for the dance floor and easy listening for anytime anyplace.
