4PEACE

4PEACE

In west Philadelphia born and raised. On the playground is where he spent most of his days. Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and shooting some b-ball outside of the school...Haha, jus’ playin’! Well, about the Philly part anyway.

4Peace (aka Jack Bandit) is a DJ/Producer originally from Dallas who’s been doin’ the damn thang since 1989.

He’s performed at more events than can be recalled due in large part to the over-consumption of amber bock, blond, & nut brown ales. He’s won awards (1997 FW Weekly – Best Nightclub DJ), managed record stores (Core Records, Neurovox) & from 2000-2003 even owned his own vinyl shop (Tech*Sun Records).

His musical opinion was valued enough that he spent time as a music reviewer for Feedback & Elevated Beat magazines.

He currently heads up his digital music label called Cabbie Hat Recordings and also co-operates Juiced Music along with good friend & fellow producer J. Caprice (who he also produces with under the guise of High Maintenance). However, he now spends most of his time writing music as one half of The SoulMates with his beautiful & uber-talented New Zealand fiance Camille, owner of Caliber Sounds. From time to time he’ll get inebriated & co-write chart topping cuts as his alter ego Jack Bandit or giveaway free bootlegs as Boot Reynolds.

He’s been blessed to have tracks on an immense & ever-growing number of labels which include staples such as Guesthouse, Panhandle, Fogbank, Kleenhouse, Coyote Cuts, Nite Grooves, Whitebeard, Liberate, Central Music, HARD, Caliber Sounds, & Freshly Squeezed as well as on his own labels Juiced & Cabbie Hat and many more too numerous to mention.

On the remix front he’s had the pleasure of putting his raw rubs on tracks from Demarkus Lewis, Solforce feat. Sheree Hicks & Dajae, Sunshine Jones, Redsoul, Brian Setzer, DJ E-Clyps, Natural Rhythm, Doc Link, Moshun, Jeremy Joshua, Corduroy Mavericks, & Wattie Green to name a few.

Eventually even more prominent people valued his opinion so he was asked to move to Miami in 2011 to accept the job as the Jackin’ House Genre manager at Traxsource, the world’s leading online underground House Music boutique.

After a 2 year stint in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale 4Peace has now relocated to New Zealand where he’ll remain working remotely for Traxsource while building his dream studio with Camille!
