Our newest addition to the Dustpan Recordings family is DJ/Producer, Lurob. Having just released his “Timing and Flow” EP featuring LCC (Left Coast Commission) we asked him a few questions where he writes from his city, San Francisco California.
What is your most memorable experience DJing/Producing?
Playing with my good friend Tres Manos in Barcelona at the infamous Family Club en Las Ramblas. Amazing sound system. 3 1200 Technics 4 CDjs and full Rotary Rane with FX
Why do you think your fan base is so loyal to you and your sound?’
I try to change up my production vibe for each track. Hopefully, that is a major reason to connect with listeners.

How did you become a DJ?
After dancing and wanting to learn about the art of mixing, a good friend sold me some turntables and I began connecting with Djs around the area.
What goes on in your mind when you are DJ-ing?
Feeling the vibe of the audience and listening to what tune will grab people while moving the music to your flow.
Is there a ‘musical message’ you try to get across during your sets?
Enjoy the vibe and let sound set you off.
