J-FADER
J-Fader started out DJing in 1985. He’d been buying records from the age of 11, jazzfunk, disco, raregroove and breaks and beats were the sounds that shaped his musical taste.
Playing at clubs and warehouse raves from 89 onwards, J-Fader developed his DJ skills in the early 90’s, he won a DJ comp which was run by dance music magazine blaze, beating over 300 DJs across the UK. In 92’ he teamed up with K Warren (UK garage producer) and made some unreleased tracks, also at the time DJ-ing for Pauk K, who can be said helped promote UK garage scene in its early days with the likes of E.Z Tuffjam and the Dreamteam DJ-ing at his event “A One Night Stand”.
After taking some time away from DJ-ing, J-Fader looked more towards producing music, heavily influenced by the sound of Eddie Perez and later Todd Edwards, he would find his place within the jackin house side of house music, with over 150 releases and support from the likes of Chicago’s DJ Heather, Derrick Carter and Mark Farina to name a few, J-Fader continues to develop his jackin house style of music to this day.
