MAD SEQUENCERS
Mad Sequencers is the Mexico City–based electronic music project of producers Jose “Alex” Jimenez and Carlos Duarte. Shaped by the raw energy of Mexico’s 90s rave movement, the duohas been crafting underground groovy music since 2005.
Rooted in classic warehouse culture but driven by modern club dynamics, MAd Sequencers are known for producing groove-focused tracks built around rolling basslines, hypnotic percussion, and DJ-friendly arrangements. Their sound bridges old-school underground spirit with contemporary dance floor functionality.
Over the years, the duo has built a consistent presence across major digital platforms, with releases featured on stores such as Beatport and Traxsource and tracks appearing in DJ charts across global electronic music communities.
Their catalog includes releases on labels such as PPMUSIC, Monoside, Fresca Recordings, Juiced, Groovy Riddim Records, Scream Soda, Chicago Skyline, 3RD Room, Ritual Beats, among other showcasing a sound that moves fluidly between House, Jackin House, Tech House and sometimes Techno territories.
MAd Sequencers' productions have also received support from respected international DJs including Cevin Fisher, Marshall Jefferson, Angelo Ferreri, DJ Heather, DJ Jes (Chicago), Paco Caniza, Bonetti, Jason Hodges, Ant Kalero, Rai Segura, 4 Peace, Templar Jazzmik, Elios Fade, Roberto Parisi, Raffaele Ciavolino, Gustavo Carnevale, Jason Merle, among many others within the global underground scene. With a career spanning nearly two decades, MAd Sequencers continue to push a groove-driven sound designed for real dance floors— maintaining a deep connection to underground culture while evolving with the modern electronic music landscape.
