IN LOVING MEMORY OF NEC SFS (1976 – 2026)

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that the Dustpan Recordings family processes the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend and brother, Nec SFS, at the age of 50.

We have lost a true house music hero, not just in Greece but worldwide. Just last month, Nec celebrated his 50th birthday doing what he loved most—playing a brilliant DJ set alongside Kevin Yost, Pascal, and friends at Manko Athens. The outpouring of love and grief from all corners of the globe following his sudden passing shows just how profoundly he touched lives, and stands as a testament to just how strong, unified, and deeply connected the underground house music community truly is.

Nec was a pillar of the deep house scene, shaping a soulful sound through his signature solo works like Black Power and Flight Attendant Groove, as well as his exceptional productions alongside Sir Cadillac and G Spice. His unique artistic voice became a permanent fixture in our musical family, elevated by the timeless remixes he crafted for fellow label artists such as Alex Michos, LeDeep, Miguel Palhares, L.Boogie, and more.

His music leaves an indelible mark on the global underground, spanning his releases on Dustpan Recordings, Moulton Music, Greenhouse Recordings, Emby, Moiss Music Black, MoodyHouse, True Deep, Kolour, and other house music imprints. Beyond his incredible production work, his vision came alive through the Roof Room live broadcast station, which he co-founded to elevate house music and build a community for artists and listeners alike. Whether he was behind the decks or connecting with peers, his humility, talent, and love for the craft always shone bright.

Nec, your groove will forever live on in our catalog, on our dancefloors, and in our hearts. You will be profoundly missed.
