Kane Ian returns with Loading A Program EP — two MPC 2000XL-crafted deep house sketches originally produced in 2019. Built from raw samples and dusty hardware textures, “Hit Snooze” drifts through hazy, half-awake grooves, while “Ocean” slides into calm, fluid motion. A stripped, hardware-driven release capturing pure early-morning energy inside an old sampler screen.
Early support from the likes of Hector Moralez, Jason Hodges, Bell Mesk, Alexandre Santos (LBF Project), SimplyB, Ramon Valdez Jr. and more.
Tracklist:
A. Hit Snooze [6:10]
B. Ocean [5:53]

A defining voice in Southeast Asia’s house music movement, Kane Ian has built a career that bridges underground credibility with global recognition. Born and raised in Singapore, he’s not just a DJ or producer — he’s a label boss, event organiser, and music director, with an unmistakable sound rooted in deep, jackin’, and jazz-soaked house.
As the founder and A&R of Dustpan Recordings, Ian has created one of the most respected independent house labels in the world to emerge from Asia — now with over 200 releases, featuring artists like Boo Williams, JT Donaldson, Andrew Lozano, Demarkus Lewis, Kenny Summit, Angelo Ferreri, Katimi Ai, and Paka Project.
Ian’s own productions have appeared on Great Lakes Audio, Juiced Music, and Blockhead Recordings, supported by legends like Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Phil Weeks, Mr. V, and DJ Heather. His sound — a mix of warm textures, swing-heavy drums, and deep musicality — connects equally with veteran selectors and new-gen dancefloor heads.
From Tokyo to Chicago, London to Mexico City, and standout appearances at events like Burning Man and WMC Miami, Ian has made his mark as a globally touring artist. Back home, his previous residencies at W Singapore and Tanjong Beach Club became iconic — especially his role in shaping the signature beachside sound of Tanjong Saturdays, which he soundtracked for many years.
Still locked into the groove — same as ever.
