Bronx, New York–based DJ/producer WhoisBriantech makes his debut on Dustpan with the six-track album "Almost Home". Blending four-to-the-floor, deep, funky, and jackin' underground '90s house with jazz, funk, soul, African rhythms, and tech house, the album delivers standout tracks like 'House Is Also About', 'We Back Home', 'Can U Come On' (with Mr. V on vocals), '4 Da Underground', 'Soulful Beat Downz', and 'Revisited Future'. Inspired by the streets, record-digging culture, and the global house music community, "Almost Home" is raw, gritty, authentic, and soulful — a self-audio portrait of the artist, rooted in shared experience and a deep love for the music that brings people together.

Brian Nance began releasing music in 2011, when his first official track Da Mental Groove was signed by Chicago house music pioneer Jesse Saunders. Released under the alias Briantech, the track appeared on Saunders’ Above the Clouds compilation series, marking Nance’s entry into the global house music scene.
Following his debut, Nance launched his own deep and tech house imprint Tech22, through which he released a series of EPs including Da Rise of Tech22 and Deeperside of Tech22. These early releases helped establish his sound, blending deep, soulful house elements with driving tech house rhythms.
As his production work expanded, Brian Nance released music on several international labels. His Elevated Levelz EP on Nightscopedeep Recordings received notable attention from Spirit of House, which featured the release in its soulful deep house reviews.
Nance’s productions have also been supported by DJs on Traxsource charts, with releases such as Tempting Soulful Offerings gaining traction among the platform’s selectors. His deep and soulful work continued with the semi-underground EP Northern Light Selectionz on Stellar Disco Records, which included the track Just Be featuring Bes and Kafele. The release gained strong chart support and featured remixes from artists including Kiko Navarro and Slotta.
Further releases followed on labels such as Always Moving People with the Beatdown EP, and Deep Booth (Italy) with the soulful house release Soul Journey.
In 2018, Brian Nance reestablished his Tech22 imprint, introducing the Tech22subprintznyc moniker to expand the label’s direction and continue pushing forward deeper, tech-driven dancefloor music.
